Great, but talk about disgusting, dirty and run down. We already told the kids we were going! Could not check in until 4pm, but could use the water park til then. Monday night room was 379.00, booked it on Wednesday price increased to $509. But to visit the area not necessarily for the water parkįirst off, we are locals (no discounts). I will let you know that while it was cheaper than Great Wolf Lodge, it was about 1/2 the size and missing many of the thrill rides. We are from NYC and used to things being overpriced, and did not find anything too crazy. We also had fries and loaded nachos which we found reasonably priced. Which did keep us on the strict 1/2 hour refill rule.
My 11 and 13 year old quickly grew bored but love entertaining their baby sister, so played in the kiddie area with her kept them occupied. The one ride for teens was the boogie board wave. The waterpark is perfect for the 2-9 year old crowd. We found a open empty wine bottle in a cabinet and a package of peeps once we started looking around. We stayed at a family suite which was large. We left after day 2 and checked into the Holiday Inn Lake George Turf for a great relaxing weekend! More Show lessĬhecked in at 12 and our room was ready. I would never return again just disgusted with everything and the not even an ounce of caring from the staff. I even tried to call after and got the run around put through to voice mails with no call backs for 3 days. We tried to speak to the lady checking us out her response was same as others ok and you'll get a survey? Really this is how you treat returning patrons. Then no hot tub for the adults all 3 days with no explanation just a nope not open. I heard many many complaints to a staff that could care less and same answer ok well tell the water park manager. It was absolutely freezing the kids were shivering it was crazy.

Over crowded as with a full hotel they still had trips, groups and parties in addition to high paying guests who had no chairs in the park. The fire alarm in the next room was going off one morning for over 1/2 hour again called the desk but apparently it took this long to get a supervisor to enter the room. For $350 a night they could put done $ back into the rooms. The window does not stay open is broken and the rooms are just worn down. We were in 201 broken refrigerator dial inside was broken off which we called on several times with no help. Check in is long lines and staff seems annoyed by there jobs. Has taken a downward turn in lady few visits. We have been coming her since 2006 since the lodge opened and loved it.
